[Psalm 137:1-9] “If God Collected All My Tears in a Bottle…”
If God were to collect all my tears in a bottle, how much would it hold? I have cried so much this year because life has been so hard.
To make a living, I went to a day labor agency and submitted a resume with all my education and career details erased.
On my way to the warehouse work site, I saw the Seoul National University shuttle bus stopped right behind the bus I was taking. I hurriedly lowered my head, terrified I might run into someone I knew. I even had to walk past a Coke I desperately wanted to drink, just to save a few coins.
The psalmist hung his harp to guard his faith, but I realized I had stopped praising God, using my difficult situation as an excuse.
Now, I pray that praising God—rather than solving my problems—becomes the greatest joy of my life.

[Deut 23:1-14] God Never Forgets
“I spent years decoding the world with data and logic, only to find that my own life was a puzzle I couldn’t solve—until I laid down my weapons at the feet of Jesus.”
The waves crashing ahead of me feel overwhelming, as if they might sweep everything away. Even though I know this is a battle the Lord must fight, I find myself constantly picking up my own weapons, trying to strategize and fix things on my own—only to end up completely exhausted. I have decided to surrender this fight entirely to Him. My only task now is to stand before Him with a pure heart.

[Deut 11:1-12] Trusting God Who Watches Over the Land
In the morning, I was brave. I told myself, “I can handle 40 years in the wilderness.” But after a long day at the warehouse, moving more boxes of coffee than I’ll ever drink in a lifetime, that resolve vanished.
Exhaustion took over, and my heart began to waver: “Maybe 40 years is too much. I shouldn’t have prayed for this.”
When I finally sat down and opened the Word, dazed and drained, one verse caught my eye:
“Remember today that your children were not the ones who saw and experienced the discipline of the Lord your God: his majesty, his mighty hand, his outstretched arm.” (Deuteronomy 11:2)
I realized I was trying to push through the wilderness with my own strength. Today, I stop striving and stand before His Word. I choose to remember His mighty hand that is greater than my exhaustion.
